At Protekta Shoes we understand the value of good footwear.

Being originally from Denmark where the benefits of clogs are widely known we were surprised to discover how little they were being worn in Canada. So we decided to do something about it.

In 2004 we opened Protekta Shoes and began selling clogs to the local area farmers. Clogs provide great support for the foot and are very hygienic because they are made of leather and can easily be cleaned with a quick wipe. These benefits made them very popular and our business quickly grew.

In Denmark clogs are a standard part of any uniform for doctors and nurses and their Canadian counter-parts soon discovered why as we began selling clogs to the local hospitals. Along with the comfort, support and hygiene benefits many clogs come with extra soft soles which provide great traction on slippery floors. Ideal for those working in hospitals, kitchens or anywhere else where slippery floors can be an issue.

Located in the little town of Lucknow, Ontario, Protekta Shoes offers small town service with a big town selection. In addition to our line of clogs we also offer a wide range of shoes for adults and children ranging from leisure to professional wear.
